Quarterly Meeting
NOTICE: The next Association Quarterly meeting will be held in mid-September. The agenda will include an Association discussion about landscaping and painting. Please email the Board (sampsonaltadenahoa@gmail.com) if you have an agenda item that you would like to discuss. Stay tuned for an announcement with the exact date, time and location.
Condo Association Email List
Would you like to receive Association notices by email? If so, email: sampsonaltadenahoa@gmail.com ASAP, and you will be added to the contact list. Thank you!
REMINDER: Emergency Information Contact Form
The Association received several completed Owner/Tenant Information & Emergency Contact Information forms over the last several months, but if you haven’t completed and returned yours, please do so soon. The Board of Trustees requires this information to better coordinate with Emergency Services such as Police, Fire Departments and Paramedics in case of an emergency. Please fill out this form and return to a Board member promptly. Additional copies are posted on each building’s posting board.
Painting
Interior plaster repairs are almost complete. The Board of Trustees is devising a process that will allow all unit owners to have a say in the choosing a new interior paint color. Stay tuned!
Landscaping
The Association Landscaping Committee has received a proposal for re-landscaping a portion of the property. The intention of the landscaping committee is to research opportunities for increasing property value, improve the aesthetic beauty of the property, and reduce the amount of water required for watering each summer. All Unit Owners have the opportunity to help decide how we move forward on this effort.
Sprinkler System
REMINDER: Last summer, the Association received a water conservation audit and report from the Slow the Flow/Utah State University Extension Service stating that our lawns were being over-watered, resulting in a shallow root system and poor lawn health. The audit also found evidence of moss, suggesting over-watering. The board is adopting recommendations from the report this year. Due to over-use of the Association’s water, two of the building’s hose spigots have been locked to prevent over-watering. In our desert climate it is normal for grass to become brown during the peak of summer.
Work Order Sign-off Forms
If you notice a repair or other type pf work that is required in Association common area, please fill out a work order sign-off form and submit to a board member. Any project that you wish to undertake yourself must be approved by the board, and a work order sign-off form must be completed and submitted for this purpose. Updated forms have recently been distributed.
Parking
If you are interested in buying a monthly parking pass for a reduced rate, look for a sign-up form on the notice boards soon. Diamond Parking is offering reduced parking rates if the Association can enroll at least 10 cars.
Washing Machines
Please do not start both washing machines in the Sampson building basement simultaneously. This can cause leaks in the machines.
